In this fun and easy lesson, students of ALL levels can learn the basics of how to approach and arrange a lead sheet. In this lesson we will use the song Baby It’s Cold Outside as our example. You will learn how to create the arrangement through four steps: Roots, Adding 7ths, Motion and Improvisation. The techniques here can easily be moved to any jazz standard and they will also help you to quickly be able to play a lead sheet…just in time for the holidays!
